Park Min Young and Song Kang Meet in Cruel Story of Office Romance
Based on the novel by Lee Do Woo Yi, When the Weather Is Fine tells the story of forgiveness, healing, and love that takes place around a small bookstore in the countryside between Hae Won (Park Min Young) and Eun Seob (Seo Kang Joon).
For this year, the 35-year-old actress has no Korean drama or film projects, but she has been confirmed for an acting comeback next year.
The actress will compete acting with Song Kang in the drama Cruel Story of Office Romance. This romantic genre drama is about the work and love lives of people who work at the Korea Meteorological Administration, Korea's national weather forecast service.
Min Young plays Jin Ha Kyung, a forecaster for Division 2 of the Korea Meteorological Administration who is a hard-working woman who is able to take care of everything herself. Meanwhile, Song Kang plays Lee Shi Woo, the person in charge of the Special Reporting Division 2 of the Korea Meteorological Administration who is free-spirited and has an IQ of 150.
Besides them, there is Yoon Park as Han Ki Joon, a handsome and intelligent spokesperson and Yura as Chae Yoo Jin, a weather reporter for a daily newspaper.
In last July through his personal Instagram, Park Min Young uploaded a graduation photo wearing a toga with a smile. The photo is also written with the caption 'JIN, HA KYUNG'. Cruel Story of Office Romance will be directed by When the Camellia Blooms director, Cha Young Hoon.
The script will be written by the writer Dr. Romantic 2, Kang Eun Kyung. Cruel Story of Office Romance is still in the process of filming and is scheduled to air on the JTBC channel in 2022.
