Jimin Allegedly Not Sitting With BTS on First Class Flight, HYBE Receives Criticism!
Recently BTS (Bangtan Boys) flew to Los Angeles for their concert and promotion in the United States. During the flight, Jimin BTS was reportedly sitting in business class, angering fans and demanding an explanation from HYBE.
On November 18, a netizen (OP) admitted to flying on the same flight as the BTS members. He posted a message on Instagram about the experience.
"Although many of you may be jealous that I flew on a plane where BTS is so close, I could reach them if I fell. I'm currently regretting my choice not to buy a first class ticket!" said the netizen.
"Then, I can definitely see the members for a full eleven hours! But I noticed Jimin taking Prestige (business class on Korean Air). I purposely went to the bathroom like a hundred times just to see Jimin," he continued.
"I kept imagining about running to first grade to ask V to open my jam and about how the guards probably wouldn't be able to pull me in, but my DMs were buzzing. (Please see V's hand in the fourth clip!."
With this post, social media started to stir up speculation and hashtags about the reason why HYBE made Jimin sit in Prestige while the rest of the members were in first grade. The agency also drew criticism.
Some also wonder why Son Sung Deuk flies in first class while Jimin sits in Prestige. But not long after, the OP posted an apology regarding the issue.
"I am ashamed of my thoughts and actions and want to sincerely apologize. I feel very honored to meet BTS on the same plane and I think I want to show off because I am very happy," he wrote in a new post.
"Of course filming them secretly and taking photos is childish. But at the same time I'm thinking when in my life will I ever be able to see V right in front of me like that?"
"So I recorded him landing before the bodyguard came. But I knew this post was a mistake, so I immediately deleted the post. And went to the bathroom a hundred times? No way. It was only once and I happened to see Jimin."
"I didn't want him to feel uncomfortable so I walked quickly and didn't see who was next to him, because all I saw was Jimin (does this make sense?)"
"I heard that everyone has come under fire because of what I posted. I am not making this up and feel that it is best to explain everything exactly as I experienced it and apologize," he concluded.
ARMY is currently waiting for an official explanation from the company. HYBE, on the other hand, has yet to respond to the situation.
